A new business centre is due to be opened on the Isle of Dogs.
Independent serviced office provider Orega is taking over 15,500sq ft on one floor of the South Quay Building in Marsh Wall. The 15-storey tower is the only building from the original 1980s scheme that is not being demolished as part of the South Quay Plaza development.
Orega will renovate the space to create flexible offices with work stations able to accommodate businesses sized from two to more than 100 people, meeting rooms and break-out spaces.
Commercial director of Orega Jeremy Hampton said: “We’re very confident that Canary Wharf will continue to develop and grow. With this in mind we’re delighted to provide our latest Orega Business Centre at a highly dynamic and attractive waterside location, the South Quay Building.”
Due to be completed in October, it will be the sixth centre opened by the firm in London joining Chancery Lane, High Holborn, Hammersmith, Moorgate and Wandsworth.
