The Boutique Workplace Company buys Ventia Ltd

The Boutique Workplace Company today (14 December, 2015) announced the purchase of multi-award winning serviced office provider Ventia Ltd. A member of The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 for a second year running, Ventia’s turnover has doubled in the last two years and it expects to deliver EBIT in excess of £3m in the current year.

Part of the Moorgarth Property Group, which is owned by South African retail entrepreneur Christo Wiese’s listed Tradehold Ltd vehicle, The Boutique Workplace Company will take control of Ventia and its assets with immediate effect giving the enlarged group 25 business centres and over 2,500 workstations in central London.

The Boutique Workplace Company will also retain Ventia’s 35-strong staff including director Dan Wheble.

David Hall, managing director of The Boutique Workplace Company said: “Ventia’s reputation and standing within the industry allows The Boutique Workplace Company to capitalise on its existing properties and trusted brand. Its established track-record in acquiring desirable office space at the right price and in the right location will serve to complement our on-going strategy.”

“The synergy between the two companies is undeniable as both businesses look to provide quality, bespoke serviced office space within central London,” he added.

The purchase of Ventia will catapult The Boutique Workplace Company into one of the leading service office operators within the capital and will provide a perfect platform for further expansion.

Steve Baker, founding director of Ventia commented: “We are delighted to have agreed to sell Ventia to The Boutique Workplace Company. It is a really great brand and culture fit, and I look forward to seeing the company go onwards and upwards building from a solid base.”

Since its inception in 2009 Ventia has grown its portfolio to 23 business centres with over 2,500 workstations across central London.

Ventia has also been recognised in the last twelve months through a number of acclaimed business awards. It has just been announced that Ventia has placed number 43 on this year’s Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100. Last month Ventia was also announced Small Business of the Year at the Nectar Small Business Awards 2015.

The Boutique Workplace Company was founded in January this year and has business centres in the West End and Midtown. Further business centres are in the pipeline with another due to launch in Shoreditch early next year.

The broker acting for Ventia Ltd was Doug Green of Green Kinnear Real Estate, GKRE.
