The company has appointed Gryphon Property Partners and retained Jones Lang LaSalle to advise on the disposal of 130,000 sq ft at the City tower, following last Thursday's pitch. The instruction represents the final piece in a 2.9m sq ft jigsaw which Brookfield began to assemble following its spectacular purchase of the bulk of Hammerson's London office portfolio in June 2012. Cushman & Wakefield and GM Real Estate are among the biggest winners from the shake-up, securing prestigious instructions on the major developments in the portfolio. C&W has replaced CBRE to advise alongside Allsop on the 640,000 sq ft Principal Place, EC2, development on the City fringe. GM Real Estate replaced Knight Frank on the 500,000 sq ft London Wall Place, EC2, development, joining incumbent JLL. Brookfield's option on the London Wall Place scheme was acquired separately to the portfolio buy. The property company's head of leasing, Martin Wallace, who joined the company from Montagu Evans following the acquisition last year, has led the shake-up. The final line-up includes: • 100 Bishopsgate, 900,000 sq ft proposed - Knight Frank & GM Real Estate • Principal Place, 640,000 sq ft proposed - Allsop & Cushman Wakefield. This appointment is in conjunction with the London Borough of Hackney and Hammerson. • London Wall Place, 500,000 sq ft proposed - Jones Lang LaSalle and GM Real Estate. This is a JV appointment with Oxford Properties and the City of London Corporation • 1 Leadenhall, 114,000 sq ft - DTZ & Newton Perkins • 99 Bishopsgate, 340,000 sq ft building of which 130,000 sq ft is vacant - Jones Lang LaSalle & Gryphon Property Partners • 125 Old Broad Street, 320,000 sq ft building, 16,000 sq ft coming to market - CBRE • 25,000 sq ft of Shoreditch High Street properties around the Principal Place scheme, of which 10,000 sq ft are unlet but under offer - Montagu Evans & Paul Belchak & Co • All retail units across the portfolio, around 50,000 sq ft in total - Gillingham Bruce Pollard jack.sidders@estatesgazette.com
