Jury O'Shea LLP purchases new Freehold HQ in Midtown from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine

Growing law firm Jury O'Shea LLP has just completed the purchase of a freehold office building at 7-9 Breams Buildings, just off Chancery Lane, from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (“RCEM”). The building will be refurbished by Jury O’Shea and become its new City HQ, when it moves from its current location in Whitefriars Street, Blackfriars in Q1 2026.

The vendor was the Royal College for Emergency Medicine who had occupied the building previously, before consolidating into its main premises at Octavia House, Southwark.

The price paid was £3.6m, for the 7,000 sq ft property, representing around £500 per sq ft.

James O’Shea, Senior Partner of Jury O’Shea commented “We are delighted to have been able to purchase rather than rent our new HQ. Both the vendor and professional teams were a pleasure to deal with, and we are excited for this next chapter for the firm”.

Gryphon Property Partners acted for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. Polar Green structured the overall transaction for the purchaser, with Farebrother helping source the opportunity and acting jointly on the purchase, whilst Pinnacle provided Building Services advice.

Jury O’Shea has grown steadily over the last two years, from c.40 lawyers to c.90 lawyers with a total headcount of c.135.
