Gryphon Property Partners opened its doors for business on 1st October 2012 with its core group of five partners. Its aim is to provide specialist commercial property consultancy and office space advisory services.

Colin Hargreaves

Colin Hargreaves, has an extensive track record giving strategic advice to Occupiers, Investors and Developers.

Colin Hargreaves is widely recognised as a leading specialist in the field of London office property.  His experience of working with senior management of major organisations enables him to address clients’ property needs within the context of their wider business objectives.

Colin’s previous roles include Managing Partner of Cushman & Wakefield and Chairman of its City of London office, founding partner of Hargreaves Goswell, and International Director at JLL.

Colin is a keen fisherman, shot and traveler.

Tim Davies

Tim was previously a Senior Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate before co-founding Gryphon Property Partners in October 2012. He has worked in the City office market and its environs for over 25 years, providing specialist occupier, disposal and development advice to tenants, funds, institutions and property companies.

His landlord clients include Brookfield Properties, Hermes Investment Management, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Orchard Street Investment Management LLP.

For tenants he has recently acted for SYSTEMiQ Ltd, Plastic Energy Limited and Scorpeo Asset Management, providing relocation and strategic occupational advice.

Recent transactions include the leasing of 90,000sqft at Aldgate House (EC3), 70,000sqft at 99 Bishopsgate (EC2) and 70,000sqft at 70 Wilson Street (EC2).

Advice is delivered with the benefit of an in-depth experience of the market, in a considered manner and with perhaps a smattering of good humour!

 

Jeremy Trice

Jeremy has worked in the City of London, Holborn and Docklands market since starting his career at Debenham Tewson and Chinnocks over 25 years ago. He was a Partner at Morgan Pepper then a Senior Director at BNP Paribas before he co-founded Gryphon Property Partners.

Jeremy provides specialist disposal advice to Landlords as well as acquisition advice to occupiers focusing on a very personal service at all times.

His Landlord clients include Clearbell, Aberdeen Asset Management, Helical, Meadow Partners, City of London Corporation, London Diocesan Fund, Helix Property Advisors, CBRE Global Investors and Apperly Estates.

Tenant clients include Macquarie Bank, Kidd Rapinet,SCC, Lendlease, and Sam Knows.

Recent transactions include the leasing of 62,000 sq ft in 25 Copthall EC2,60,000 sq ft in 3 and 4 Harbour Exchange E14 and 28,000 sq ft in 165 Fleet Street EC4.

Jeremy is a keen Exeter Chiefs Rugby supporter and collects Zulu War Medals.

Jamie Major

Jamie joined Gryphon in 2015 with a BSc Hons RICS degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. Having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2018, he has become an integral part of the office agency team specialising in leasehold disposals and acquisitions.

Jamie has worked closely with Landlord clients such as AXA, Helical, Barts Charity, CBRE Global Investors, Amsprop, City of London and Pearson, amongst others.

He has also acted on behalf of occupiers, helping them to find their perfect new office. Recent client acquisitions he has been involved with include Schjødt, Relex Solutions, Market News International and Cancer Research UK.

Outside of work Jamie has a keen interest in sports, especially football and rugby and can be found at Stamford Bridge every other Saturday!

Isobel Payne

Isobel joined Gryphon Property Partners as part of the founding team. She has been in the City of London property advisory sector for many years working for a range of firms including Cushman & Wakefield (Healey & Baker), King & Spalding, Hargreaves Goswell Down and JLL.

Isobel provides comprehensive administrative and seamless support to the firm.

Mike Morley

Mike advises Gryphon’s clients principally on lease agreements and rent reviews. He is an experienced advisor and has a wide involvement with office occupiers, retailers and restauranteurs in the City of London, Holborn, Shoreditch, Soho, South Bank and Kensington areas. Notably he has assisted many of the retail and restaurant tenants in Leadenhall Market, Soho and Borough Market.
Adrian Rose

Adrian has advised on business rates in central London for many years. He can advise not only on the correctness of rating assessments but also how to minimise rates liability during building works or refurbishment works or when properties are empty or partly empty.
Ben Almond

Ben advises Gryphon’s clients on their portfolio transformation and real estate capital optimisation strategies.    

He is qualified both as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and has extensive experience working with the C-Suites of Corporate Occupiers to develop real estate strategies and design operational and financial transformation programmes.   

Ben’s previous positions include Head of Property roles at both Pearson PLC and Commerzbank, where he orchestrated complex change programmes across their global portfolios. He also held an Executive Director position in Corporate Capital Markets at CBRE.    

Ben is a 3rd Dan black belt in judo and is actively engaged in coaching to national level.
